Chugach National Forest photo gallery
The Chugach National Forest is a 5.4 million acre temperate rain forest located in southcentral Alaska. It envelopes Prince William Sound and is bordered to the north by the rugged Chugach mountains. Although access is limited, many people enjoy exploring the region via boat, kayaks and hiking. It is rich with bird and marine life, and laden with grand majestic scenes of mountains, trees and glaciers.
