Harbor seals photo gallery
Harbor seals are one of the most populous seal along Alaska's shores. They can often be seen resting on rocky tidal areas, or on floating icebergs where a safe space can be found from marine predators. They are a curious animal and a very slow approach in a quiet vessel often allows close views. A majority of the images below were taken in the sheltered fjordlands of Prince William Sound.
