Juneau is Alaska's capital city located along the Alaska Panhandle in southeast Alaska. The cities most recent history includes the turn of the century gold rush. Since no road goes to Juneau, access is made by plane and the Alaska Marine Ferry system. Juneau is Alaska’s third largest city at about 32,000 residents.
