Mink

The American mink is a member of the weasel family. It inhabits nearly all of Alaska except some of the offshore islands and far Arctic North Slope. It can be found along stream edges where it hunts for food as a semi-aquatic animal. It eats rodents, fish, frogs, and birds. It moves quickly and is, in general, a shy animal.
